End User License Agreement

1. Personal Use vs. Commercial Use

The Software is free for personal use, including learning, personal projects, and open-source work.

A commercial license is required when the Software is used for the work of a for-profit organization, regardless of company size or number of users. Whether you use the Software as an employee, contractor, or founder, use in the course of a for-profit organization's business requires a commercial license.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for the applicable use type (personal or, where licensed, commercial).

3. Restrictions

You may not resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the Software or any commercial license for profit.

You may not reverse-engineer, circumvent, or tamper with the licensing mechanism, nor use the Software beyond the scope of your license type.

You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices in the Software.

4. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. All intellectual property rights in the Software remain with its author. This Agreement grants you no rights other than the limited license expressly stated.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

7. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and delete all copies.
